Location: Homebased or Bromsgrove

Hours: 9am – 5pm (some flexibility is required)

You may be an experienced social care, education or healthcare professional with a keen interest and ability to provide learning and development experiences or you may be an experienced learning and development professional in an unrelated field.

Role Details

Role Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver specialist content that meets the needs of the community including leaders, staff and foster parents
  • Research and apply learning theories, legislation, policy and best practice principles to design and develop innovative learning and development experiences.
  • To develop and produce high quality learning resources for use within the virtual learning environment, to support classroom and blended learning courses.
  • To deliver engaging and inspiring learning and development experiences, tailored appropriately to a variety of audiences.
  • Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of learning and development experiences and initiatives.
  • Contribute and engage in strategic development and continuous improvement of the Learning and Development service.

Requirements

 Certificate in Training Practice (CTP) or Teaching (7307, PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS) or equivalent

  • Degree level/equivalent level professional qualification or demonstrable experience
  • Proven experience of proactive stakeholder management
  • Previous experience of learning and development consultancy, design and delivery of workshops
  • Proven IT skills in delivering training but also day to day to manage workload
  • Excellent prioritisation skills
  • A good level of written and verbal English and other language as appropriate

Initial selection may take place with a phone screening interview, with panel interviews to take place over MS Teams or in person at the Bromsgrove Head Office

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, cost of which will be met by Polaris.
