Youth Project Worker in Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health
BASED IN ESSEX
FULL TIME & FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL 30th SEPTEMBER 2021
SALARY: Up to £23,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE, TRAVEL EXPENSES, PLUS BENEFITS
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for young adults and families. We have been awarded an exciting contract in Essex to support 16 – 18 year olds transition out from the EWMHS team.
We provide emotional wellbeing and mental health support through holistic and therapeutic interventions as part of the Integrated Early Support Service to young people and their families to improve emotional health and wellbeing and their ability to form positive relationships with peers and adults.
You will be responsible for providing therapeutic input, guidance and training to young people and their families, supporting the improvement of family relationships and promoting emotional wellbeing in their own home and other community based venues working within an Integrated Early Support Service team based in Essex.
With a background in social care, youth work or any other related area and an understanding of the challenges faced by young people and families, it is essential that you have previous experience of working with children, young people and families as well as a sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others.

Travel across Essex will be required, so access to a car is essential, but your travel costs will reimbursed.
