Full-Time Social Worker
Base Location: Derby or Nottingham/Nottinghamshire
Covering Location: East Midlands (Out of area visits may be required)
Salary: Up to £35,000
Benefits: 30 days’ Annual Leave, rising to 35 days’ with length of service + Bank Holidays, Mileage Paid (40p p/m) Company Pension

Working across Derby City, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire, we are working to support young people to transition from residential care to foster care placements, be supported to avoid escalation from fostering to residential care, supporting young people to be re-unified with their families/primary carers; and helping young people to remain out of care.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Social Worker to support the delivery of high quality, evidence informed services to children, young people and families/foster carers. With substantial and proven experience of providing social care services that improve outcomes for young people and their families/carers you will be a key manager in the development of our new service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced social work professional to provide a safe, comprehensive and flexible social work service to children/young people and families/carers.
If you are a knowledgeable and experienced social worker with excellent organisational skills, are able to meet deadlines, have excellent communications skills and the ability to analyse situations accurately as well as a passion for delivering positive outcomes then this is the ideal role for you. Experience of working within LA and/or IFA fostering services would be an advantage.
